Life is a journey, not a destination.

A lot has changed in these last couple years…

Where do I even start?

High level topics:
– Still married to the love of my life. That’s a plus. She’s stuck with me for a while 🙂
– Still have a great job, family, and support system.
– I now have a child, which is crazy. But I love him dearly and if it wasn’t for my wife, I’d be struggling to raise him. I still can’t fathom it wholeheartedly, but for those single parents out there, I bow down to you.
– And of course, our little furry friends in our household has increased. We now have three dogs and one cat.

I’ll write more about all of these high level topics more in due time.

– Why did I stop blogging? Time for an introspective:
Is it because I’m lazy? Is it because I’m legitimately busy? Nothing to say? Something else?
I can’t pinpoint an exact reasoning. I would say it is a mix between laziness and being busy. There’s days where, just like most of us, when you’re finally done with the work day, finished taking care of your family, that you have no energy left to then write out your day/life. I definitely have topics I can discuss. Not that I think my perspective is anything different or original, but I see life through my own personal lens and I don’t mind sharing that with the world. If anything, it may be cathartic for me and would be nice to look back on.

– I need to build better habits.
Multiple better habits. But lets start small. Lets start with a habit to keep this blog up-to-date. I feel like most blogs/bloggers I run into, all have the same issue, whether it’s as quick as me, or longer in their… blogging venture. I do not want to become a statistic on that front. I just created a new reminder on my calendar, for every Sunday moving forward, I will try… no… I will write a blog post. 🙂

See you next week
